August 2025: change in VAT rate effective Jan. 1, 2026
As of Jan. 1, 2026, the government is changing the VAT rate for lodging from 9% to 21%.
This means we have to adjust our prices accordingly.
We feel it is important to share this with you in advance, so that there are no surprises. Of course we remain committed to offer you a warm stay at B&B Lyts Paradys.
The new prices for 2026 are for B&B rooms per night based on 2 people including breakfast:

The apartment 'Het Voorhuis' can be booked from 3 nights and does not include breakfast.

The prices of the rooms are based on 2 persons per night.
The prices include:
- extensive breakfast
- Unlimited coffee and tea
- free wifi
- free parking on own premises
- cleaning costs
- tourist tax
- enclosed bicycle storage including charging facilities
- Pets are not allowed
- Smoking is not allowed inside the b&b
- Bicycle rental is possible in consultation, ask for the possibilities
- BBQ is for rent for €7.50
The check-in time is between 16:00 and 20:00
The check-out time is until 11:00 am
Should you wish to deviate from the above times, please consult us.
Payment of the total accommodation cost must be made in advance by bank, or in cash upon arrival.
